BongBong’s Piaya and Barquillos’ new Privacy Policy is compliant with R.A. 19173, or the Data Policy Act of 2012.

To be able to use our online ordering system, you, the customer, would have to reach through the Privacy Policy and give your consent by checking “I Agree” at the bottom. This allows us to process your information so that we may be able to process your orders. Failure to agree to this will not give us the chance to provide you the services of our online ordering system.

We collect your information namely: last name, first name, gender, birthday, contact information, delivery address, landline number and mobile number. This information is used to process your registration and/or account in BongBong’s systems, to enable the execution of the organization’s marketing efforts including, but not limited to, viber, sms, email and other similar applications. We also use the information to process your order online and to exercise or defend legal claims and to fulfill other purpose that may be directly related to the previously stated purpose.

Upon agreeing to be a part of the organization through any means, BongBong’s collects, stores, records, organizes, uses and consolidates your information for the purposes mentioned in the preceding paragraph. The use of your information adheres to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and no automated processing takes places, following the definition laid down by the aforementioned statute.

Sharing of Information

Your information may be disclosed by BongBong’s to 3rd party service providers as well as to government agencies pursuant to lawful purposes which would include, but not limited to: carrying out of lawful business endeavors, complying with statutory requirements, digitization, storage of information, collection of data, analysis of data, complying with responsibilities of Customers, and for the defense and exercise of legal claims of the company.

BongBong’s may seek a third party to process your information and the processing of such third party will be subject to a separate agreement between the company and the said third party pursuant to the provisions of the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

The agreement between BongBong’s and the third party will contain specific obligations and rights of each party. Such agreement will provide that the third party will process the information will have sufficient security measures and will only carry out a specific manner of processing the said information in accordance with BongBong’s instructions.

Other possible circumstances wherein BongBong’s will transfer customer information to a third party pursuant to law or a legal instrument would include but not limited to the protection of rights and assets of BongBong’s, enable disposition or acquisition of business, emergency cases where life and limb are at stake.

BongBong’s will not provide the information to any other party without the written consent of the customers, except for third partis which BongBong’s engaged for the processing of information of the customers, including entities within the organization of BongBong’s.
